“Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe” (Rev 14:15).
The harvest is here, and we want to experience our impact upon it on dynamic spiraling levels: Houston . . . IMPACT, South Texas . . IMPACT, Texas . . . IMPACT—all intensifying unto a Global . . . IMPACT! “IMPACT” is defined as “an impinging or striking, especially of one body against another: a forceful contact; the force of impression of one thing upon another: a significant or major effect upon.” The church, the body of Christ, is endeavoring to have a paramount IMPACT upon the masses of this world though the Spirit and power of God as we prepare for the UPCI 2010 General Conference that will convene in Houston on September 29 – October 3, 2010.
Second Chronicles 7:1 states, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.” The power of fervent prayer, fueled by the burden of the Lord for a lost and dying world, will be an essential factor to help reap the harvest.
“Ablaze” is descriptive of being on fire; radiant with light or passionate excitement. The fire of God is descending from heaven upon the earth and is blazing the trail to South Texas with a mission to spark revival fires across our district that will continue to burn and quickly spread in its final destiny to set the world ablaze! As we align ourselves in prayer unto God and unto service in the work of His kingdom to reach an end-time harvest, then God indeed will baptize souls with the Holy Ghost and fire. Have you positioned yourself in the path of this ball of fire to allow yourself to be consumed with the fire of God for His great divine purpose in this hour?
Everyone is invited to get involved. Every part that you contribute will make a major difference–from your commitment to prayer and fasting, to your active labors and participation in prayer ministry events. From young to old, all who desire to get involved, it’s not time to “retire,” but it’s time to “refire.” Let’s work collectively and get engaged in what’s happening in the South Texas District Network of Prayer. Also, be a part of Texas Ablaze, spearheaded by South Texas, and together, let’s behold the blazing glory of God!
In a united effort, the South Texas District Network of Prayer is organizing various events this year as spiritual support in preparation for the harvest that God desires to give. The South Texas District believes God for another Pentecost, with over 3,000 souls filled with the power of the Holy Ghost at the UPCI 2010 General Conference. Now is the time! Isn’t it glorious and grand that you live in one of the greatest times of revival in the history of the church and have been given a mandate to reach this world? We look forward to your active participation in this great historical event as we come expecting the fire and the shekinah glory of God to fall that will result in unprecedented apostolic growth in the kingdom of God. The Lord will pour out His Spirit in a phenomenal way! “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;” Joel 2:21, 28
