The churches of the Austin/Hill Country section gathered for a joint service Sunday night, April 11, at the Austin Convention Center. There were approximately 1,100 in attendance. God moved powerfully: 103 people were filled with the Holy Spirit, and there were several notable healings! Praise God!
Our section conferences will take place soon. They will be fellowship conferences; however, we also have some very important items on the agenda. We will conduct a straw poll for the district level offices (in which all licensed ministers will participate), promote our General Conference in Houston, and hear our District Superintendent speak. During the special election, Ken Gurley was elected as the new district superintendent of the South Texas District, and Danny Johnson was elected as the new district secretary.
